PRICES
The prices advertised in our lists are for booking lasting one week. Our prices include the fees, the taxes, they cover all the normal running cost such as : water, electricity, gas, products of swimming pool, garden upkeep. Our prices includ a weekly cleaning (only villas with swimming pool). All the houses are rented with linen. The supply of cloths is thus included in our price. However, you will have to bring your beach towels.
In period of low and mid season when the heating is perhaps necessary, the expenses of electricity will be extra. In certain houses, a limited consumption of electricity is imposed. Each contract stipulates all the rental conditions perfectly.
For the telephone, network GMS functions almost everywhere on the archipelago of Malta. We advise you to take your mobils. Please check with your own operator.

START DAYS AND LENGTH OF STAYS
The periods of rental begin any week day according to availabilities.
Times of arrival: between 16:00 and 20:00. For late arrivals, how to get to the premise will be given as well as the indication for the key delivery.
Times of departure: always before 10:00. The minimum duration of renting is 7 nights in July and August and 4 nights from September to June.
The present rental having been agreed only on a purely seasonal basis, the tenant has to leave according to the date on the contract having in addition its residence indicated as addresses in present convention. It will not have the right to sub-lease.
In order to allow us to plan your reception, you will have to inform us concerning your flights numbers and your arrival and departure time at least one week before your arrival as well as possible changes.

CLEANLINESS OF THE HOUSES
The houses must be left as clean as at the time of your arrival. We invite you to be particularly vigilant on this point: At your arrival to note the state of property and at your departure to clean or have your house clean. Indeed, the day of the departure of the tenant, one of our agent will come to check out the state of the house which will have to be given back in the same state of cleanliness as at the arrival. The premise must be left in a state of cleaness corresponding with the normal use of the premise according to your stay. On your departure day, one of our agent will come and check the premise wich must be handed backin a state of cleaness corresponding to the normal use of the premise. In opposite case, domestic expenses must be paid by the tenant, at the rate of 50.00 euros + VAT an hour.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTIES
All the properties advertised in this catalogue (or in this site) have been visited at least once by our agency.
Moreover the descriptions (described in decree of May 16th, 1967) filled by the property owners have been entirely and faithfully condensed in this catalogue (or in this site). In spite of these precautions, if your accommodation rental fails to live up to its advertised description Villas Malta cannot be held responsible for a fault committed by the owner (covering up, oversight, hidden defaults...).
Similarly, Villas Malta, being a middleman, is no way liable for alterations affecting the rented property or its surroundings or availability if it has not been informed of them by the owner before the booking date and the arrival at your holiday accommodation.
The tap water being unsalted, we strongly advice to buy bottles of water or your own consumption. We also advice you to foresee products or sockets against mosquitoes and ants.

NUMBER OF PERSON
The number of people living in the premise will not exceed, in any case, the number established in the contract. Other way, the agency will have the right to penalize the tenants at a rate of 100 euros per day and per person for the references ASP, FSP & RES, and 250 euros per day and per person for the references VAP, or to expel them immediately without having the right to claim or to be compensated. Any behaviour considered as "savage" will be also regarded as sufficient reason for expulsion of the house.

PETS
Animals are not welcome on the Maltese archipelago.

DEPOSIT OR GUARANTEE
A deposit of a minimum amount of:
- 400 Euros for the apartments
- 700 Euros for FSP and RES
- 1000 Euros for the premise with pool
will be systematically asked by the person in charge at the reception.
In order to avoid this payment in cash, a print of credit card could be made at your arrival and be returned 3 days after departure depending on the outgoing inventory.

CANCELLATION
Any cancellation will have to be made by letter registered with acknowledgement of delivery. The date of reception determines the expenses of cancellation according to the following scale:
* More than 45 days before arrival: the expenses of cancellation are equal to 30% of the amount of your rental
* Between 45 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the amount of your rental

COMPLAINT
If you wish to make a complaint on substantial qualities of your rental, you will have to inform us by telephone initially in the 72 H of your arrival; this complaint imperatively must, to be taken into account, be followed with a letter registered with AR sent in the 4 days of your arrival. Passed this time (6 days, maximum) no complaint will be taken into account.
This period is an additional precaution to protect you from possible bad surprises: this is why we invite you to respect it. For details of less importance, we are always there to help you and be used as intermediary between you and the owner.
In case of contesting, the competent court is the one in Malta.

TO BOOK WITH VILLAS MALTA
All you need to do is send us the booking form. Please sign it and send it with the proof of your bank transfer or with your bankcard number (except American Express).
Do not hesitate to phone us or come to our office (with an appointment) for further details.
Once you have made your choice, write down two other choices on the booking form, in case your first choice is already booked.

DEPOSIT
You join the proof of your credit transfer accounting for 30% of the total amount of your rental. The balance will have to be paid at the latest 45 days before your departure
+ Euros 20.00 fee cost.
CAUTION: if your payments did not reach us within the above mentioned times, your rental could be automatically cancelled without any notice from our part, the balance can be paid anytime suitable for Villas Malta.

CONFIRMATION
Within 8 days of booking, you will receive your confirmation. It gives you the number of your rental contract.
If you wish an extra service such as cleaning, linen, etc, we invite you to send your request at the time of your reservation.
After receiving the balance of hire, the complete address and maps (if necessary) will be sent to you with the travel form.
